Got this for a friend. It was on order for months and then in October 2012 they finally came in. You can get them from many places for $380 shipped but I got this one from Sweetwater as I really like their service. This one weighs 9 pounds 14.7 ounces or 4.5 kilos which is a bit heavy for a basswood body. Sweetwater lists the weights of the ones they have in stock and some are about 10 ounces lighter.

It plays, looks and sounds great. A very playable version of the 1960's Fender Jazz Bass. Could be used anywhere a vintage Fender could be used except for posting on the internet and bragging about how cool you are. But if you're good with that it's under $400 and not over $4000.
